Purchasing restricted equipment

Emergency One Lighting practices due diligence when supplying restricted equipment to the public. When purchasing restricted colours or sirens, you must provide at least one of the below verification documents. 

  • A copy of your organisation's exemption from the relevant state authority. 
  • A letter on your organisation's letterhead briefly explaining your unit's operational requirements. 
  • A completed and signed copy of our waiver form (download). This form should only be used if you intend to operate restricted lights and/or sirens for private use, and not on public roads without the relevant permission.
